About Us
Shreyas Chess Academy was established in 2013 by Shreyas Hapse, an International FIDE-rated player with a peak rating of 1969 (as of 1st October 2006). He was the Sub-Junior State Runner-up in 2006, representing Maharashtra at the Nationals in Assam, and the Junior State Runner-up in 2008, representing Maharashtra at the Nationals in Andhra Pradesh. He also won the West Zone Universities Gold Medal in 2015 and represented Maharashtra at the Nationals in Bihar. Additionally, he is a three-time consecutive winner of the Pune Mayor’s Trophy (2014, 2015, 2016) and has participated in numerous national and international tournaments.
Shreyas Chess Academy currently operates in 11+ countries (India, USA, UAE, Canada, UK, Singapore, Qatar, Australia, and Germany), and has successfully trained 1000+ students. From beginners to advanced levels, the academy has helped over 150 students achieve an International FIDE rating, making it a trusted name in global chess coaching.
